Fuel System Cleaning

A clean, unclogged fuel system is vital for proper engine performance and efficiency. Your fuel injectors deliver fuel as a fine mist that's easy to ignite — but over time the nozzles collect deposits that hurt how your car runs. We'd recommend a fuel system clean roughly every 3 years or 45,000 miles (newer cars may go a little longer).

DPF Cleaning (Diesel Particulate Filter)

If you drive a diesel, your DPF traps the soot from your exhaust and burns it off ("regenerates") during normal driving. Lots of short, stop-start journeys don't get the engine hot enough to do this properly, so over time the filter clogs — and a blocked DPF means warning lights, lost power, and a costly replacement if it's ignored.

At Car Friend we can diagnose the cause, carry out a proper DPF clean and forced regeneration, and get your filter working as it should — almost always far cheaper than leaving it until the DPF needs replacing.

Signs your DPF needs attention:

• DPF or engine warning light on the dashboard
