At Car Friend in Cannock we service all makes and models, irrespective of age or condition. You can use us instead of a main dealer if you have a vehicle that is within it’s manufacturer warranty (without affecting that warranty). On average we save customers around a third on the cost of a service from a main dealer or national chain.

Alternatively, choose one of our three, fixed-price service levels if your car or van is older and out of its manufacturer warranty. All our services are covered with the Comma Oil Guarantee.

Interim – £99*
Interim Services include an oil & oil filter renew, a list of comprehensive checks including, battery test and tyre sheet. A full written report is always provided and of course the important service book stamp. We recommend this service for lower mileage cars (8000 miles or less per year) annually or as an interim service for higher mileage vehicles.

Annual – £145*
Our most popular service recommended every year for average mileage vehicles (12,000). This service includes oil & oil filter change, air filter change, a full list of comprehensive checks including fluid level & concentration checks. We supply a diagnostic report, full tyre sheet, battery check & a full written report for your records.

Major – from £249*
The Major service includes everything an annual services offers plus, cabin filter & fuel filter renewal, spark plugs (if appropriate) coolant and brake fluid renewal. It is a full comprehensive service recommended for higher mileage vehicles.

At Car Friend we care deeply about the environment and our impact on it, and what we do produces waste (old parts, tyres, waste oil, coolants etc) that must be disposed of carefully and responsibly. We choose specialist carbon-neutral waste companies wherever possible.

The cost of this to our business grows every year and we have always tried to absorb this cost, but with increasing consumable costs and price inflation on recycling services we now need to apply a small surcharge to invoices to cover this. As always these charges will be fair and explained to you with every service estimate, and prior to any servicing work being carried out.

*all our services are subject to a surcharge for oil type & oil recycling. Some vehicles require a fully synthetic or specifically low-ash oil and these fall outside of our standard range. For these oils there will be a surcharge of up too £36. Additionally, vehicles with an oil capacity of over 5 litres will be subject to a capacity surcharge of £26.
