Other markings to look out for are: Extra Load (XL) and Run Flat (RF).

Choosing Tyres

- Wet Grip Rating: Tyres with a high wet grip rating will stop quicker on wet roads when full brakes are applied. Wet grip is the tyres’ ability to stick to the road in wet conditions.
- Noise Rating: You will notice two bits of information, the first is the dB rating or decibel. The second is how many of the 3 black semi-circles are coloured in. Simply put the lower the number the quieter the road noise from the tyre.
